Save your stamps for the Lincoln Land Bird Banding Association

 

LLABB is an acronym for Lincoln Land Association of Bird Banders and is a charitable not- for-profit 501 c (3) organization that has a two-fold function.

a) to use bird banding as a tool to monitor resident and migratory bird populations and
b) to provide educational opportunities and training for persons interested in birds and the environment.


LLABB is currently responsible for three major programs:

1) Lincoln Land Community College Bird Banding Station (LLCC BBS)

2) Illinois’ Hummingbird Festivals
3) MAPS (Monitoring Avian Productivity and Survivorship), a cooperative, national, summer bird banding program.
